I deleted the download page

Todd mentioned today that he found what he thought was a newer tool on our download page. It had actually been there for quite sometime. I posted the browser app in this category and everyone seemed to find it ok, so I figured I would go ahead and ditch the static page and just post new tools here. That way, they’ll get picked up in the feed and everyone will be able to find them easier.
We should be posting a couple of new WP plugins in the morning. In the meantime, here is a link to the Tattler. (The site explorer tool Todd was talking about.

Got something to say?
Call me Corky, but I just don’t get it…
Sure this is a nice way to get a simple list of URLs and titles of pages linking to you or to a competitor. Looks like good fuel for scaper site population maybe. But I am not sure what I am trying to learn from this tool that I can’t learn from linkdomain: or site explorer.
Or Am I trying to find a magic black box in a tool that really just allows me to quickly grab backlink info, export it to excel or a Db and then be able to compare that data in the future to new results…
BTW - when I try the ‘Export’ Button I get some errors saying it wants to delete sheets, then it says “General Exception Caught” and no sheet is generated. But hey - what do I expect from a free tool right?
Thanks Greg!
Someone told me about this error about ten minutes ago.
You’re not Corky, it’s just that simple.
New Tattler uploaded. “General Exception Caught” fixed (most likely).
dax
Thanks for the tool. It works very fast.
Thanks for the tool Greg.
